Client Requirements
Virtuscan is part of The Gunite Group , and we had previously worked on their branding, design and print services. We then got asked the design and build websites for two of the group divisions. Their requirements were for a professional, modern, easy to navigate website. This website needed to balance between keeping a consistent feeling to being a part of the larger group, but distinct enough from the other divisions.
My Role
I worked with the design team to work on an initial design mock-up which was visually appealing, and functional from a development perspective. We also made sure to consider the user low through the website, and building pages in a way to direct users to where they need to go. With the development, we aimed to build the front-end and back-end of the website is the most user friendly way as possible, for the purpose of being able to hand off the completed project, to be managed and maintained on a day-to-day bases by their own staff. We also used the most up to date features given by the Kadence plugin system, to develop custom designs for the post loops. We designed a bespoke style for the carousel, and archive pages to display their news articles, and their case studies.
